Chapter 268 - COUP D'ETAT

Jack, Blue, and Steve were staring at Kevin in confusion upon hearing the scientist\'s confession. It felt like Kevin was growing two heads that caused him to get that kind of attention from the three people.

"What do you mean, Brother?" Blue questioned the blue-eyed man while frowning at the man. "Since when did you know my uncle\'s location, and why didn\'t you tell us about it before?"

Kevin suddenly displayed a guilty expression on his face as he replied, "I\'m sorry, Blue. But I\'ve expected that Kris would be kidnapped by the bad people, so I\'ve secretly implanted a GPS tracker on his body. Kris himself doesn\'t know about it."

Kevin\'s confession stunned the three people in the room. He indeed secretly implanted a tracker in his fiance\'s body. Once Kris said that he wanted to put a GPS in Kevin\'s body, but what happened was the total opposite.

Kevin was the one who planted the GPS in his fiance\'s body.

"What kind of joke is it?" Jack commented in disbelief.

"It\'s not a joke, Jack. I even secretly implanted a GPS tracker in your and Blue\'s body."

Again, the three people were shocked upon hearing Kevin\'s statement. Jack and Blue were surprised, while Steve looked puzzled because he didn\'t know what the three people were talking about.

"Is it when you injected the antidote to our bodies, Brother?" Blue suddenly questioned her brother again, and Kevin seemed to be surprised before he smiled.

"You indeed deserve the genius title, Blue. You can analyze the situation so quickly, and that\'s amazing."

Kevin was praising Blue, but Jack was still confused at the side. "What do you mean by Kevin has implanted the tracker inside our bodies when he injected the antidote into our bodies? How did he manage to do something like that, Blue?"

"It\'s a nano-sized GPS," Blue answered the tattooed man\'s question, but her gaze remained on Kevin. "Am I right, Brother?" She continued as she stared at her brother.

Indeed, Blue was not an ordinary girl, and she could easily read the situation so well.

"You are right, Blue," Kevin confirmed the girl\'s suspicion. "I managed to create a nano-sized GPS, and I secretly implanted the GPS into your bodies because I\'m worried about your safety."

Kevin cared about them all, and that was why he secretly did something like that.

However, Jack\'s expression remained dark as he replied, "You have known Kris\'s location from the start, but you deliberately acted like you were clueless and panicked all the time. What\'s your plan?"

It could be said that Kevin was acting alone all this time. He didn\'t even tell Kris about his plan, and both Jack and Blue were curious about Kevin\'s real plan now.

"I want to find the real culprit," Kevin casually responded. "I know Kris\'s location from the start, but if we recklessly rushed to save him without knowing who our real opponent is, then it\'s no different from committing suicide. Maybe that\'s what our opponent wants us to do, so I didn\'t want to tell you about it before I find our real enemy."

Again, Blue and Jack were stunned upon hearing Kevin\'s explanation. Kevin was acting like he was hurt and stressed all the time, but it turned out that all of that was just acting. Kevin was planning something all along, and he didn\'t tell anyone about it.

"So, you have found out about our real opponent, Brother?" Blue butted in again.

Kevin finally had unveiled the secret, and it meant that the young scientist had found who the real opponent was, right?

"Yes," Kevin calmly answered. "But don\'t you want to know where Kris is now first? Maybe you will be surprised after knowing his location."

Kevin himself was surprised when he just read the information he got from the GPS tracker in Kris\'s body, but it was not completely unexpected because he had always been suspicious of that place. However, when he finally got proof that the place was indeed related to the criminals, he was still perplexed for a moment.

"Did those people bring my uncle to the buried valley, Brother?" Blue suddenly voiced out her hypothesis, and Kevin was surprised by the young girl again.

"You\'re no fun, Blue!" He scolded the blue-eyed girl. "I intended to act mysteriously, but you managed to find out about it before I have the opportunity to tell you."

"We have suspected that place, right, Brother? So the confirmation wouldn\'t surprise us."

Perhaps Kevin shouldn\'t have acted mysteriously in front of Blue because the girl was not dumb at all. She was different from Jack, who still looked shocked after knowing that the buried valley was indeed related to the crime.

"I indeed brought Mr. Kris to the buried valley in Chilad," Steve suddenly chimed in, making the three people turn to him again. "That\'s not just an ordinary buried valley, but they deliberately buried that valley so that they could build a secret laboratory that wouldn\'t be found by the government. I don\'t know the details, but they planned for a coup d\'etat."

Steve just revealed important information to them, and the information surprised the three people.

"Can you tell me the people in the alley?" Kevin questioned the man again after a long time.

If it was indeed a coup d\'etat plan, then it was important to know the people who planned the rebellion. Kevin now could confirm that the criminal\'s plan this time was not merely for revenge, but it was for something bigger.

"I only know the leader and some important people such as Jaden Dunn and Felix Smith, but I\'m sure that there are some important people in the country that join in their plan. I can tell you that it\'s a big plan, Sir."

Kevin thought that Grace Hasler was just overthinking when she assumed that the person indeed planned for a rebellion, but now that Steve had confirmed the suspicion, he knew that the fierce lady was right.

They indeed needed to tell the government about it.

"Hey, Kevin," Jack suddenly called his name, and Kevin turned to him in response. "You do know who our real enemy is, don\'t you? Can you tell me who he is?"
