Chapter 441: - The Houses Development is Almost Done
"Sorry, took a bit longer than I planned," he grinned, still caught up in thoughts of what he\'d just experienced in the game, before joining the two girls around the campfire.
They had arrived here using the bus\'s auto-drive feature, and Leon had already been inside the capsule device before the bus even set off. That\'s how he\'d managed to meet up with Freya in the game.
He\'d been busy the entire day in-game, traveling from Capital City to Deadbay, chatting with Elowen and the others, and even indulging in a bit of fun tormenting Bob and his companions. The memory of it made him chuckle to himself.
"So, worked up an appetite, Mr. Hard Worker?" Freya teased, glancing at him.
"Hahaha, yeah, let me help with the meat."
"Come on then," Freya replied, and Leon joined the two of them.
Leon then shared some screenshots and video clips with the two of them, showing off Pawpaw and Polly.
"Aww, Pawpaw... so cute!" Lily responded enthusiastically. "I want a little kitten like that." "Visit Slumdon, Lily. How much longer are you going to hide your profile in the game?" Leon said.
Lily giggled. "Not yet, just a bit longer. I\'m working on an interesting project with Hazel." Leon then showed them what he\'d done to Bob and his friends, causing Lily to burst out laughing.
"You\'ve seriously got a bit of a sadistic side like your brother, huh?" Freya remarked.
"No, yes, I know it\'s cruel," Lily admitted, "but I can\'t help feeling a little relieved, knowing what Bob did to Leon before."
"So, satisfied now?" Freya asked.
"Yeah, really satisfied," he chuckled in response.
The camping trip that night turned out to be quite enjoyable, mostly filled with eating and chatting around the fire. They spent a lot of time taking pictures too, as it seemed Freya had a hobby for nighttime photography.
By the next morning, they headed home early since it was Monday and they all had to get back to their usual routines-especially Lily.
Leon managed to reach Olivia that morning, only to discover she had already checked out of the hotel. When he called her, she sounded annoyed, though he could tell it wasn\'t serious.
"You went on a camping trip with other women, knowing someone came all the way here to see you?"
"It was a last-minute thing, Olivia."
"And where\'s my apology?"
Leon chuckled at that.
"Where is it?! I know you\'re so responsible, right?" she pressed.
"Okay, okay. I\'m sorry."
"Next time, you\'re coming on a trip with me, okay?"
"Yes, sure. But with Lily, okay?"
Olivia laughed softly on the other end. "I want it to be just the two of us. Seems like you don\'t have the guts to do that."
"No, I\'m just concerned for you. I doubt your sister would even let you go alone with some stranger guy," he replied, chuckling.
"I\'m not a kid anymore, okay?"
After confirming she\'d made it back safely, Leon got on with his day, heading to campus. He had a bit of time-about three days-before their scheduled trip to Wildwood Forest to hunt for the Eternal Flame. So, Leon decided to take care of all his real-world responsibilities first. As soon as Leon arrived on campus, he was greeted by Laura, who seemed unusually excited that day. After chatting for a bit, she finally shared something that left him momentarily speechless.
"Wait, your copy is still in Hell?"
Laura nodded with a smile.
Leon nodded back, clearly impressed. "I guess your Divine Champion ability is pretty convenient. You can exist in two worlds at once. So, what are you doing there?"
"I\'m looking for a chance to help the Shadow Wolves with their Raid Boss hunting-the one you\'ve already taken down twice."
Leon turned to her, surprised. "You knew about that?"
Laura immediately looked panicked and shook her head quickly. "No, no! Don\'t get the wrong idea, Leon. I don\'t follow you around in Hell. I figured it out when I saw you wearing the armor from the raid boss."
Leon chuckled at her reaction. "Alright, well, next time, just let me know if you\'re nearby, okay?"
Laura nodded, smiling warmly.
He made sure to take care of various tasks in the real world-working on assignments from campus and keeping up with his martial arts training. This was something he couldn\'t afford to skip! A commitment is a commitment, even though he had started to slow his pace, realizing he needed to allocate time for other things as well.
Then, when night fell, it was time to dive back into Immortal Legacy.

Broken had several agendas lined up that day. It was to evaluate how well the plans drafted by Livelywood had been implemented. It had been a few months since that time passed.
Freya said as they strolled through the streets of Slumdon. "You shouldn\'t be stuck managing this city while there are countless thrilling adventures waiting for you beyond its walls."
"The city is my responsibility."
"Yes, it is," Freya nodded, "but I\'m here for you. I can handle the day-to-day tasks while you focus on the bigger picture. That way, the mundane work can actually become more
enjoyable."
"Is this another mission from the Golden Age Company for you? Aren\'t you doing too much
for me?"
"Golden Age only assigned me to assist you outside the game. Inside the game, I\'m just here because I enjoy it. Everything I do here is for fun."
Broken said with a chuckle. "I\'m just worried Golden Age might charge me for using their
employees for personal matters."
"Then, you\'ll have to pay me."
"With money?"
"If you knew how wealthy I am, you\'d be shocked."
"Oh really? I didn\'t know that... Guess I\'ll have to visit your place next time."n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
"No way, my door is not open for you!"
From a distance, they spotted Livelywood running toward them, grinning widely. "Hey, I haven\'t seen you since you got back from Hell, Broken. Hehehe."
"Hey, everything going well?" Broken asked.
"Very, very good!"
Freya chimed in with a teasing smile. "Livelywood, are you sure you\'re not spending too
much time managing the city and forgetting to level up?"
"Ah, haha..." Livelywood chuckled. "I thought I could balance both, but there\'s a lot to handle when it comes to building this place."
Freya nodded knowingly. "I think joining Broken on his next expedition was the right call,"
she said. "I wouldn\'t want one of the most talented Swordsmen in the game to fall behind because he\'s too busy managing the city."
"Ah, haha..." Livelywood laughed again. "I\'m really grateful-and a bit guilty at the same
time."
The three of them continued walking, making their way toward the builders, who were busy renovating a nearby house.
[Congratulations, Broken! You have earned the title of Slumdon Town\'s Mayor of Progress!]
Suddenly, a notification popped up in front of Broken, catching him by surprise.
